WORLD-WIDE KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY

This is an excellent opportunity to spread the word about OPK. Are you able to find a location and meet with some other OPK members? Think about these options: a local coffee shop, a restaurant with large tables (Beyond Bread is a good example), your local library (ask to speak with the library manager about setting up a few chairs and tables at the entrance), or your community clubhouse. Take OPK information so you can hand it out when people stop to ask what you are knitting (and they will!).

If you want to participate, please contact Shelley Erickson on or before Sunday, June 8th, at veep@oldpuebloknitters.org to let her know the following info so she and you can coordinate with other interested members:

• your name and preferred contact information
• what time of day you plan to meet
• where you plan to meet

Shelley, herself, will be at Beyond Bread (Ina & Oracle) from 2-4 pm on WW Knit in Public Day. Want to join her? Text or call her at 480-510-3077.
