During this talk, we’ll be going through all the 4 Steps of the Doodle Framework:

STEP 1 Choose your pattern

• Before the talk, check out our collection of FREE Base Doodle Patterns! All of our Base Doodle Patterns work with any chart, so you can pick any shape to work with any Doodle Chart Collection!
• You do not have to cast-on a project before the talk, but take a look and see if anything inspires your creativity!
• For those who crochet, check out this free pattern for an Infinity Cowl.

STEP 2 Choose your charts

• If you want to grab some specific charts to bring to the talk with you, use the code OPKG-FreeDoodle to download a FREE pattern from my Ravelry Store!

STEP 3 Choose your yarns

• Again, there is no requirement to cast-on before or during the talk, but if you have a few yarns you are thinking about using – bring them along! We’ll be talking about color choices and how to build a color palette for your Doodle Project, so it might be helpful to have a few yarn ideas handy during the talk.

STEP 4 Knit!

• We will be going through some of the basics of how to knit colorwork, but if you want to look at a few resources, head over to our page of tutorials on Colorwork Knitting and Essential Knitting Knowledge to see all our blog posts!
